EvenhandedPortal offers superior yacht charter services that encompass:

  • Corporate retreats
  • Private events
  • Multi-day charters

We provide services based on availability and prevailing weather conditions and retain the authority to adjust or cancel services without prior notice.

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

To secure a charter, you are required to:

  • Be at minimum 18 years old
  • Supply truthful and thorough information
  • Remit the requested deposit as outlined in your booking confirmation
  • Consent to these Terms & Conditions

3.2 Confirmation

A reservation is only considered confirmed after the payment has been processed and we have sent you a written confirmation. We can decline service to anyone at our own judgement.

3.3 Availability

Charter offerings are contingent on boat availability and conducive weather conditions. We will endeavor to meet your preferred dates and slots.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All charges are in € and incorporate all relevant taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are susceptible to amendments without warning.

4.2 Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: 50% of the total cost of the charter, payable upon booking
  • Final Payment: Payable 48 hours before the charter commences
  • Additional Costs (if applicable): Payable on completion of the charter

4.3 Payment Methods

Major credit cards, bank transfers, and validated checks are accepted. All payments are processed using secure encryption.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • With more than 72 hours before departure: Full refund minus transaction fees
  • Between 24-72 hours before departure: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours prior to departure: No refund given

5.2 Weather Cancellations

If our captain determines the weather conditions unsafe, we will propose to:

  • Postpone your charter to an alternative date without any additional charge
  • Issue a full refund if rescheduling is not viable

5.3 Mechanical Issues

If there are mechanical issues with the designated vessel, we will aim to supply a comparable substitute. Should an alternative not be attainable, we will reimburse you completely.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

All patrons must:

  • Heed all directions from the crew
  • Use prescribed safety gear when mandated
  • Disclose any medical conditions that may influence their security
  • Stay within permitted zones aboard the vessel

6.2 Prohibited Items

Passengers are not allowed to bring the following aboard:

  • Glass containers
  • Unlawful materials
  • Weapons or firearms
  • Non-alcoholic drinks in excess (beyond reasonable limitations)
  • Pets (unless authorization is given in advance)

6.3 Conduct

Passengers are expected to behave respectfully. Should a passenger's actions pose safety risks or disrupt others, we reserve the right to terminate the charter immediately with no refund provided.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

Our accountability is restricted to the charter cost you have paid. We are not liable for:

  • Injury originating from passenger negligence
  • Theft or harm to personal belongings
  • Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Delays tied to weather or other circumstances we cannot manage

7.2 Insurance Coverage

Comprehensive marine insurance is in effect for our vessels and operations. Passengers must have their travel and individual insurance arrangements.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

Engaging in our charter services implies acceptance of the innate risks associated with such activities, with responsibility for your own safety.

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

We retain the discretion to alter itineraries, paths, or schedules due to weather, safety concerns, or operational necessities. We will strive to offer comparable alternatives whenever feasible.

9. Force Majeure

We shall not be considered liable for any delays, cancellations, or changes induced by events outside of our control, which include but are not restricted to:

  • Extreme weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Regulations of governments
  • Port shutdowns
  • Equipment failures
