Standard Cancellation and Refund Timeline
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Refund Amount: Entire amount minus processing charges
Refund Window: 5-7 working days
Service Charge: €50 for card payments
Requirements: Must be put in a request through written communication via electronic mail or telephone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Refund Amount: Half of the overall cost of the charter
Refund Window: 7-10 working days
Service Charge: €25 deducted from the refund amount
Requirements: Valid justification required; administrative expenses incurred
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Refund Amount: Refunds are not issued
Exception: Consideration for emergencies may be given on a case-by-case basis
Alternative: A charter credit might be provided based on the management's decision
Requirements: Documentation is necessary for emergency-related claims
Weather-Linked Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Your safety is our utmost concern. In cases where sailing conditions are deemed hazardous by our certified captain, you're presented with several choices:
- Complete Refund: A full reimbursement if rebooking is not feasible
- Rebooking: Reschedule to the next open date without additional expenses
- Charter Credit: A credit that is valid for a year from the initial charter date
Evaluation of Weather Conditions
Our assessment of weather conditions entails:
- Evaluation of wind velocity and direction
- Measurement of swell height and sea status
- Forecasting of visibility and rain
- Notices and cautions from the Coast Guard
- A safety verification from our professional captain
Decision Making: Decisions regarding weather-related cancellations will be made at least 4 hours before the designated departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Exceptional Circumstances
We are sympathetic to unexpected medical crises. Following are instances that could be eligible for exception:
- Acute illness or harm requiring admission to hospital
- Passing of a close family member
- Urgent military duties or recall
- Summons for jury duty or court
- Disasters impacting travel arrangements
Required Evidence
For consideration of emergency refunds, please supply:
- Medical statements or evidence from the hospital
- Death notice (when applicable)
- Official military commands
- Court invitation or notice for jury service
- Statements of travel interruptions or emergency proclamations
Procedure: Upon receipt of the necessary evidence, emergency refund requests will be acted upon within a 3-5 day window.
Operational Cancellations
Technical Malfunctions
If the yacht designated to you experiences technical difficulties that cannot be rectified:
- Different Vessel: We will attempt to allocate a similar substitute
- Full Refund: In case no alternative is viable
- Partial Refund: If the substitute yacht features a different price point
- Compensation: We might offer additional compensation as an apology for the inconvenience
Unavailability of Crew
In the uncommon event that authorized crew are unavailable:
- An alternative crew shall be arranged if feasible
- Full refund in the event the charter cannot proceed
- Options to reschedule without any extra fees
Refund Practices
Mode of Payment
The reimbursement will be returned using the initial method of payment:
- Cards: 5-7 working days
- Bank Wires: 7-10 working days
- Cash or Check: Within 3-5 working days
Transactional Charges
Card Transaction Processing
A €50 fee applies for cancellations beyond 72 hours before the charter
Bank Transaction Processing
A €25 fee applies to all reimbursements via wire transfer
International Handling
Additional costs might be incurred for trans-border transactions
Providing Charter Credits
Conditions for Credit Issuance
Charter credits may be extended as an option instead of refunds under certain conditions:
- Cancellations occurring with less than 24 hours notice
- Cancellations due to weather issues
- Voluntary rescheduling
- In the case of disruptions in operation
Terms for Credits
- Duration: Valid for one year from the date of issuance
- Transferability: Credits are not transferrable to other individuals
- Worth: Equates to the entire value of the charter without deduction for processing
- Application: Usable for any accessible yacht reservation
- Expiry: Extensions will not be granted beyond the yearlong mark
Refunding Partial Services
Disruptions in Service
In the event that your yacht experience is interrupted or curtailed due to reasons within our control:
- Reimbursement adjusted for the time not utilized
- Credit comparable to a future yacht rental of equivalent value
- Gratuitous services or enhancements
Disruptions Caused by Guests
If a yacht trip ends prematurely owing to guest behavior or disregard for safety rules:
- No reimbursement for time left
- Total charges must be paid
- Potential additional fees might be imposed
Handling Disputes
In case of discrepancies with a refund judgment, the following steps may be taken:
- A request for reconsideration by our administrative team
- Providing further proof or information
- Looking for a resolution through consumer advocacy groups
- Exploring legal options in compliance with the applicable laws

Step 3: Confirmation and Action
After receiving your request, our team will send you confirmation within one day, assess it relative to this policy within two days, and carry out approved refunds in concurrence with the specified timelines.

- All requests for refunds need to be documented
- Reimbursements are made in € independent of the payment currency
- Insurance for travel is highly suggested
- This policy may be updated given a 30-day notice
- Refunds adhere to the relevant taxes and regulations
